Augusta University’s women’s basketball program has released its 2026‑27 schedule, a 28‑game slate that blends a demanding non‑conference slate with a full Peach Belt Conference campaign. The announcement comes as the team rides the momentum of its first conference title since 1993, setting the stage for another ambitious season.
The season opens on November 10 at Catawba College in North Carolina before the Jaguars travel to Wilson, N.C., and return home for their first appearance at Christenberry Fieldhouse on November 18 at 5 p.m. against Emmanuel. Those early road tests are designed to sharpen the roster before conference play begins.
Head coach Celeste Stewart emphasized the intention to schedule opponents that have previously advanced to the NCAA Tournament, saying the non‑conference slate will test the team’s depth and resilience. ‘We want to compete with the best and give our fans memorable moments,’ Stewart said in the release.
Eleven special events will punctuate the home schedule, including Education Game, Faculty and Staff Night, and a Cancer Awareness contest. Each game will feature unique promotions aimed at engaging the campus community and supporting charitable causes.
Fan Experience Innovations
Fans can also take advantage of new amenities: free Junior Jaguar Club memberships for children 12 and under, and court‑side seating options in Christenberry Fieldhouse that range from $10 to $1,000 for full‑season passes. The pricing structure reflects a tiered approach to accommodate a variety of budgets.
Peach Belt Conference play commences on December 2 and wraps up on February 24, with 13 home contests spread throughout the winter. The Jaguars hope to defend their conference tournament crown while building on the excitement generated by the upcoming season.
