Tyler Reddick grabs pole, Chase drivers jostle for position ahead of Sunday's 5 p.m. ET start

The Cook Out Southern 500 at Darlington Raceway has been delayed after qualifying and practice sessions were called off due to inclement weather, pushing the event to Sunday at 5 p.m. Eastern Time.

Starting Lineup Highlights

Tyler Reddick was designated as the pole sitter, according to metrics supplied by Jordan Bianchi of The Athletic, while Chase driver Daniel Suarez will line up directly behind him in second place. Six drivers from the playoff field occupy the top ten, with Reddick leading, Suarez second, Ryan Preece third, Denny Hamlin fourth, Austin Cindric sixth and Chase Briscoe seventh. Christopher Bell and Joey Logano sit just outside the top ten in 11th and 13th respectively.

Further down the order, veteran Bubba Wallace, a former pole sitter at Darlington, is slated to start 17th alongside Chase Elliott in 18th. Ryan Blaney, re‑entering the Chase second in the standings, will begin from 24th, followed by Kyle Larson in 25th. Ty Gibbs, the fourth‑seed in the Chase, is positioned 28th, and the field stretches to deep‑field entries such as Carson Hocevar and Chris Buescher at 34th and 35th.

The race is set to commence Sunday at 5 p.m. Eastern Time and will be televised live on USA Network or listened to via the Motor Racing Network.
