The camp features 15 forwards, eight defensemen and three goaltenders, blending recent draft selections, NHL veterans and players recently signed to the organization.
Among the forwards, 2021 seventh‑round pick Owen McLaughlin and 2022 third‑round pick Devin Kaplan stand out, while 2023 draftees Cole Knuble and Alex Ciernik join 2024 selections Noah Powell and Ilya Pautov, and 2025 standouts Matthew Gard and Nathan Quinn, with KJ Sauer, Riley Thompson, Brady Bernard, Sawyer Dingman and Riley Steen also slated to attend.
On defense, Ty Murchison, a 2021 fifth‑rounder, Oliver Bonk, the 2023 first‑rounder, and Spencer Gill, the 2024 second‑rounder, form a core group, with Luke Vlooswyk returning for his second rookie camp and newcomers Maskiim Sokolovskii and Brek Liske joining from the 2026 draft class, while Jackson Edward, acquired from the Boston Bruins, adds another layer of experience.
In net, 2026 draft picks Martin Psohlavec and Marek Sklencla share the crease with 2023 second‑rounder Carson Bjarnason, giving the goaltending corps a balanced mix of youth and seasoned talent.
The schedule includes two exhibition games against the New York Rangers’ rookie squad, slated for September 12 at 7:05 p.m. ET and September 13 at 5:05 p.m. ET, providing a competitive test before the team moves on.
After the on‑ice sessions, the Flyers will relocate to the Flyers Training Center in Voorhees, New Jersey, where the traditional training camp will commence, continuing the preparation for the upcoming season.
