UConn Men’s Basketball Announces 2026-27 Non-Conference Schedule

A slate of seven top-25 opponents highlights a demanding early-season roadmap for the Huskies

UConn’s men’s basketball program has unveiled its 2026-27 non-conference slate, a 12-game lineup that begins on November 2 and promises a rigorous test against some of the nation’s elite competition.

Challenging Non-Conference Schedule

The exhibition portion of the schedule is set for October 13 at home against Syracuse, followed by road trips to Michigan State on October 20 and Purdue on October 27, before the regular season opens with a home game versus Michigan on November 6.

In total, the Huskies will face seven high-major programs that rank among the top 25 in Kenpom’s 2025-26 ratings, including the top three and four of the top five, and five of their opponents appear in the Top 10 of Jon Rothstein’s preseason rankings, underscoring the depth of the challenge.

Across the 12 contests, UConn will host seven home games, travel for a single road game, and play four neutral-site matchups, a distribution that adds variety to the early part of the season.

With such a demanding slate, the team hopes to sharpen its identity early, using the early tests to build chemistry before conference play begins in earnest.
