Lehigh University’s field hockey squad has altered its weekend itinerary in Iowa City after the forecast predicted soaring temperatures, moving both Saturday and Friday contests to an earlier slot.
Early Kickoff to Beat the Heat
Friday’s showdown with No. 4 Iowa will commence at 11:30 a.m. Central Time, and the match will be broadcast live on Big Ten Plus for viewers across the conference.
Saturday’s clash against Ball State is also slated for 11:30 a.m. CT, though fans will receive only live statistics online, as no video stream is planned for the game.
The schedule change follows the program’s season opener on August 28, when Lehigh posted a 2‑0 shutout victory over LIU, and replaces the originally scheduled afternoon start times for both matches.
