The 2026 All-District 1-1A baseball team has been unveiled, and the selections tell a clear story of dominance by Cedar Creek and Glenbrook. Coaches across the league voted the two programs into the first team, rewarding performances that helped shape a competitive district season.
MVP Kade Luker leads the charge
Kade Luker of Cedar Creek was crowned the district’s Most Valuable Player after a season that combined pitching mastery with a potent bat. The LSU commit finished 8‑0 on the mound with 106 strikeouts and a 0.62 ERA, while hitting .653 with five home runs, 35 RBIs and 48 runs scored.
The depth of talent extended to other standouts. Brett Bell contributed a .442 average with 25 RBIs and 20 runs, while Ryan Coleman hit .514 with three homers, 40 RBIs and 30 runs. Glenbrook’s Ryann Reagan posted a .305 average with 26 RBIs, and Darron Hollingsworth batted .337 with 26 RBIs. Aiden LeBlanc of Haynesville hit .345 with 13 home runs and 21 RBIs, and Bo Bailey of Plain Dealing batted .522 with six triples.
State semifinals beckon
Cedar Creek’s success is not limited to individual accolades; the team advanced to the LHSAA Select Division IV state semifinals, a testament to the program’s consistency. Additional contributors such as Connor Yates, Carter Nichols and Jax Doiron posted strong batting averages and solid pitching records, underscoring the district’s rich talent pool as they prepare for the championship stage.
