The season opens on September 5 against Florida Atlantic, where the Gators will roll out special ticket offers aimed at drawing the earliest fans into the stadium.
A week later, on September 12, the Gators host Campbell University and will honor three championship eras — marking the 10‑, 25‑ and 50‑year anniversaries of past titles with on‑field tributes.
The SEC home opener against Ole Miss on September 26 coincides with UF Family Weekend, giving alumni and families a chance to combine game day with campus activities.
October 10 brings the annual homecoming showdown with South Carolina, accompanied by the induction of new members into the Florida Athletic Hall of Fame.
On November 7, Florida will welcome Oklahoma for the first time in school history, marking the first meeting of the two programs as SEC foes.
The regular‑season finale against Vanderbilt on November 21 will be dedicated to seniors and potential draft‑eligible juniors, a tradition that underscores the team’s developmental focus.
Beyond the pageantry, the Gators enter the season with a 44‑11‑2 all‑time advantage over Vanderbilt and have won five straight home games against the Commodores, adding a competitive edge to the festivities.
