The University of Georgia’s basketball program is putting the finishing touches on its 2026 recruiting class, a group that could reshape the Bulldogs’ March Madness prospects.
A Strategic Mix of Talent
Among the newcomers, three‑star forward Mading Kuany from Iowa arrives with a No. 74 national ranking among small forwards, adding a versatile scoring option to the wing.
The class also welcomes sharpshooter Donovan Williams, interior presence Hakeem Weems, and big man David Ugonna Ike, each bringing three‑star pedigree that complements the existing core.
In the paint, James Scott, transferred from Ole Miss, is expected to start at center, while Brady Dunlap, a three‑point specialist from the Saint Louis Billikens, will stretch defenses. Freddie Dilione, who topped Penn State in scoring last season, joins the backcourt, bringing a proven offensive spark.
Mid‑season additions Kemauri Millender and his brother Smurf Millender further deepen the roster, while other recruits such as Kanon Catching, Blue Cain, Jeremiah Wilkinson and Somto Cyril add depth at various positions.
Coaches say the mixture of size, shooting and athleticism positions the Bulldogs to compete for an at‑large bid despite the loss of several key players from the previous season.
