George Mason University’s upcoming Atlantic 10 Tournament contest has been delayed as inclement weather sweeps through the region.
The contest, originally slated for earlier in the week, will now be played on May 22, facing the team that emerges from the postponed Game 5 between Richmond and Virginia Commonwealth University.
Game 5 itself has been held up and is scheduled to resume at 9 a.m., with the bottom of the seventh inning underway, VCU leading 4-1 and Richmond at bat.
Following the conclusion of that game, Game 6 will commence 45 minutes later, ensuring a compact schedule despite the weather disruptions.
