Virginia Military Institute’s athletic department has teamed up with the Rockbridge County Chamber of Commerce to offer a special promotion that links the upcoming home football game with the Rockbridge Beer and Wine Festival, both taking place Saturday at Lime Kiln Theater in Lexington.
Discounted Tickets and Festival Tie-In
Under the arrangement, anyone who purchases a festival ticket can exchange it at the VMI Ticket Office in Cameron Hall for a half-price football ticket priced at $20, while holders of a VMI game ticket may enter the festival for half the standard $30 admission fee.
The football match is slated to begin at 1:30 p.m. on Saturday, and the festival runs continuously from noon until 6 p.m., giving spectators ample opportunity to enjoy the game and the festivities in a single day.
Lime Kiln Theater, a historic venue nestled in the heart of Lexington, Virginia, serves as the focal point for the combined event, drawing both college football enthusiasts and local festivalgoers to the same location.
