Hamers was the catalyst in a historic 11‑0 win over Long Island University, netting four goals that placed her second in Drexel’s single‑game goal tally since 2010. The sophomore added an assist and the game‑winning goal against Saint Joseph’s, bringing her season total to five goals and underscoring her role as the team’s primary scorer.
On the soccer field, Chinapoo, a native of Pennsylvania, struck twice in just 33 minutes to spark a 2‑1 triumph over Lafayette. Her second strike, a 74th‑minute breakthrough, secured a 2‑0 lead before the final whistle, highlighting her knack for timely offense.
Both athletes exemplify the Dragons’ rising momentum, with Hamers’ prolific scoring and Chinapoo’s rapid impact reinforcing Drexel’s reputation for competitive excellence across disciplines.
