A Prestigious Invitation
Isaiah Mack‑Russell, a 2027 guard from Winton Woods High School in Ohio, has been selected to attend the Pangos All‑American Camp in Las Vegas, a two‑day showcase scheduled for May 31 through June 2. The invitation marks a significant milestone in the young player’s burgeoning career.
Camp Legacy and NBA Connections
The Pangos All‑American Camp, now in its 24th year, is widely regarded as one of the nation’s top two exposure events, attracting scouts from ESPN, 247 Sports, Rivals and other major outlets. This year’s edition will feature four games and individualized development instruction for each participant.
Mack‑Russell arrives with an impressive résumé: his team finished the previous season 22‑3 and reached the Division II regional final, and he holds scholarship offers from Virginia, Nebraska, Cincinnati, Ohio State, Arizona State, Creighton and Xavier. He is also the grandson of the late former NBA player and NCAA coach Louis Orr, linking him to a notable basketball lineage.
The camp’s guest speaker lineup includes TNT and ESPN analyst Kenny Smith, ESPN analyst Fran Fraschilla and former NBA player Earl Watson, adding expert insight to the event.
Past participants have gone on to become NBA stalwarts; this year’s playoffs include 78 players who are alumni of the camp, and notable alumni include James Harden, Russell Westbrook, Anthony Davis, Anthony Edwards, Trae Young, John Wall, Jrue Holiday and DeMar Rozan.
With 56 scouts from all 30 NBA teams expected to attend, the showcase provides Mack‑Russell a prime platform to further elevate his profile and pursue his collegiate ambitions.
