Wyoming Cowboys head coach Sundance Wicks revealed on Tuesday that forward Micah Curtis will join the program for the 2026‑27 season, adding a potent inside presence to the roster.
Curtis, a 6‑8, 230‑pound athlete from St. Louis Park, Minnesota, spent the previous year at the University of North Dakota before a lingering injury kept him off the court for much of the campaign.
Despite the setback, the forward demonstrated his capabilities with a 22‑point outing against Mayville State, shooting 10‑of‑12 from the field and pulling down six rebounds while blocking five shots.
Wicks highlighted Curtis’s relentless motor, physical style of play and his prowess on the boards, describing him as a ‘steal’ for the Cowboys and a perfect fit for the team’s up‑tempo approach.

The addition also reunites the Curtis brothers, as Micah’s twin, Marley Curtis, previously shared the North Dakota lineup, giving the Wyoming staff a familiar chemistry to build upon.
Off the court, Curtis capped his high school career at St. Louis Park High School with averages of 29.6 points and 9.8 rebounds per game, earning First Team All‑Metro West honors and cementing his reputation as one of the region’s top prospects.
