Kansas State’s women’s soccer program has unveiled a 20‑match schedule for the 2026 season, marking the team’s 11th year of competition and building on a historic 2025 campaign that delivered the program’s first winning record and shattered 49 school records under head coach Colleen Corbin.
A Milestone Schedule
The season opens with an exhibition match against the Omaha Mavericks on August 5 in Omaha, Neb., before the Wildcats travel to Hawaii for their first non‑conference test against Seattle University on August 13. The following week they remain in the islands to face the Hawaii Rainbow Warriors on August 16, a first‑ever meeting that follows Hawaii’s 2025 record of 4‑8‑8.
Back on home turf, Kansas State will host Missouri State on August 20, beginning a three‑match home stretch that also includes a showdown with South Dakota State on August 23 and a rivalry game against Nebraska on August 30. The Jackrabbits entered the season as Summit League champions with a 13‑3‑6 record, while the Huskers finished the year ranked 21st in the United Soccer Coaches Poll.
The road portion of the schedule continues with a trip to Iowa City to meet the Hawkeyes on September 10, a first‑time encounter that follows Iowa’s 2025 run to the second round of the NCAA tournament and a 12‑5‑4 overall record. The Wildcats will then head west to confront Colorado State on September 10 and Colorado College on September 13, opponents against which Kansas State holds a 3‑0‑0 series edge, including a 3‑1 victory over the Tigers earlier in the year.
Looking Forward
With a blend of home‑field advantage, challenging non‑conference opponents, and a roster that built on a historic season, Kansas State aims to extend its rise and contend for deeper postseason success in 2026.
