The Dinger Disciples camp, a Christian‑focused baseball and softball program, is back for its second summer, drawing more than 700 youngsters eager to combine faith, sport and fellowship.
Founded by Reece Meador and a coalition of local dads, the camp meets at the Robinson Little League Complex from June 30 through July 3, offering free participation for all campers.
Faith and Community in Action
Beyond the diamond, the initiative last year reached out to families displaced by floods in Kerrville, providing assistance that extended the camp’s impact well beyond the playing fields.
Organizers have already secured $25,000 in donations, yet they continue to seek contributions for food and drinks to keep the experience fully supported for every participant.
Looking Ahead
In mid‑July the group plans to launch a special needs camp that will welcome players of all abilities, reflecting the program’s commitment to inclusive recreation.
Donations and further information are posted on the Dinger Disciples Facebook page, where the community can track progress and offer support.
