USA Baseball unveils coaching staff for 2026 NTDP
USA Baseball has revealed the full coaching roster that will oversee the 2026 16U/17U National Team Development Program, set to unfold from July 27 to 30 at the National Training Complex in Cary, North Carolina.
The announced staff features field coordinators Brian Schneider and Jack Wilson alongside pitching coordinators Jake Arrieta and Luke Gregerson, all of whom bring extensive experience from the majors, collegiate ranks and professional circuits.
Schneider, who will also manage the 18U National Team this summer, pairs with Gregerson, the designated pitching coach, while former big‑league relievers Steve Cishek and Michael Bourn make their USA Baseball coaching debuts after long careers that included multiple All‑Star appearances.
The camp will welcome an 88‑player roster divided into four teams, where participants will undergo workouts, skill development drills, round‑robin scrimmages and seminars focused on both athletic and personal growth. Coaches will continuously evaluate the athletes, looking ahead to potential spots on future national squads.
