Former UNO Privateer Corey Blake Launches Summer Basketball Camp in Alexandria

Camp organized by 318 United Sports runs June 1–30, offering instruction and meals for youth

Corey Blake, a former UNO Privateer and veteran of professional leagues abroad, is bringing his passion for the game to a new generation of athletes in Alexandria, Louisiana.

Summer Camp Kicks Off June 1

The camp, run by 318 United Sports, will operate from 8 a.m. to noon on Mondays, Tuesdays and Wednesdays throughout the month of June.

Held at Peabody Magnet High School, the program welcomes boys and girls of all ages and emphasizes discipline, repetition and life‑lesson learning on and off the court.

Each session includes skill drills, scrimmages and classroom discussions designed to build character, while a complimentary lunch ensures participants stay energized.

Blake says the camp is about more than basketball; it’s a chance for youngsters to develop work ethic, teamwork and confidence that will serve them beyond the gym.
