Jenna Roark delivered a natural hat trick as Helias cruised to a 4-0 victory over Pacific in the Class 3 District 4 Tournament semifinals on Tuesday night.
A Hat Trick That Sets the Stage
The Crusaders, represented by the Helias Lady Crusaders, will now meet Washington in the district final, a match that could clinch the program’s fourth straight district championship.
Washington advanced to the title game with a 3-1 win over Hannibal, setting up a showdown that promises another chapter in the team’s storied postseason run.
Helias entered the semifinal with a strong offensive rhythm, and Roark’s three goals in quick succession put the outcome beyond reach for Pacific.
Pacific, finishing the season at 14-4-1, saw their campaign end in the semifinals, but the team leaves with a respectable record and a promising future.
The district champion will host the District 3 winner on May 30, and the Class 3 Final Four is slated for June 5-6 in Fenton, where the finalists will compete for the state berth.
Both Helias and Washington will look to carry their momentum into the next round, with the Crusaders eyeing a historic fourth consecutive district title.
