Opener against Louisville, showdown with LSU, and Egg Bowl scheduled

A packed schedule for Ole Miss football

The Southeastern Conference has revealed the television windows for three Ole Miss contests in the 2026‑27 season, setting the stage for a high‑profile start to the campaign.

The season opener will see the Rebels travel to Nashville to face Louisville on Sunday, September 6, with kickoff slated for 6:30 p.m. Central Time. The broadcast will be carried on ABC and on the SuperTalk Mississippi network.

A week later, Ole Miss will host LSU on Saturday, September 19, also at 6:30 p.m. CT. The matchup will be preceded by a live College GameDay broadcast from the Oxford campus, adding extra buzz to the contest.

The rivalry game known as the Egg Bowl against Mississippi State is scheduled for Black Friday, November 27, at 11 a.m. CT, and will again be shown on ABC and its affiliated stations.

All three games are slated to air on ABC and on the participating SuperTalk Mississippi outlets, with the complete slate for the first three weeks set to be released on Wednesday, May 27.

This broadcast plan marks the first regular‑season appearance for Pete Golding as head coach, following his leadership of the team through a historic College Football Playoff run. He will be joined by a core group of returning talent, including quarterback Trinidad Chambliss, running back Kewan Lacy and linebacker Suntarine Perkins, who are expected to anchor the offense and defense.
