All‑Star Selections Revealed
The Alabama High School Athletic Association (AHSAA) has unveiled the 2026 North‑South All‑Star softball and baseball squads, marking the 30th edition of the annual showcase.
These teams, composed of rising seniors from across the state, will take part in a multi‑site competition in Montgomery from July 20 through July 24, forming a centerpiece of the broader All‑Star Sports Week.
Selection of the rosters was overseen by James 'J.T.' Lawrence, Director of the Alabama High School Athletic Directors & Coaches Association (AHSADCA), who coordinated the final lists for both girls' softball and boys' baseball.
The event will feature matchups across multiple venues in Montgomery, giving prospects a chance to display their talents in a high‑profile setting while also participating in other all‑star contests scheduled during the week.
A Week of All‑Star Action
Beyond the softball and baseball games, the schedule includes contests in basketball, volleyball and cross country, as well as the 67th annual North‑South Football All‑Star Game slated for December in Mobile.
The AHSAA Summer Conference Coaching School will run concurrently, offering professional development for coaches alongside the student‑focused competitions.
The Alabama High School Athletic Directors & Coaches Association and the Alabama High School Athletic Association jointly administer these initiatives, underscoring their role in shaping high school athletics across the state.
