The Iowa High School Girls Soccer Player of the Year Award will be presented after the state tournament in June, a ceremony that will cap a season marked by impressive individual statistics and team achievements across the three classifications.
Class 3A: Offensive firepower
Ilana Vasconez of Ottumwa leads the class with 48 goals, while Sloane Moeller from Davenport Central adds 47 goals and 10 assists. Callie Stanley of Iowa City Liberty contributes 24 goals and 13 assists, and Andie Vanderschaaf of Pleasant Valley has posted a 94‑save season with only five goals allowed.
Class 2A: Balanced attack and sturdy defense
Nora Barnett of North Scott has limited opponents to nine goals while making 100 saves, and Hadley Wolfe of Fort Madison tops the class with 38 goals and 13 assists. Addy Wood of Norwalk, the No. 1 team in Class 2A, records 11 goals and six assists, while Anaka Ott from Waverly‑Shell Rock tallies 22 goals and eight assists. Irelynn White of Lewis Central adds 28 goals and 11 assists to the mix.
Class 1A: Emerging talents
Maelyn Kluever of Maquoketa paces the smallest division with 47 goals and 24 assists, and Morgan Crees from Panorama follows with 46 goals and 14 assists. Sophomore Meadow Lane of Colfax‑Mingo has scored 45 goals, while Addyson Shepard of Denver contributes 26 goals and 17 assists. Addy Oetker of Des Moines Christian rounds out the leaders with 24 goals and 21 assists.
