District Tournament Schedule
The 2026 district tournaments for baseball and softball in Manistee County are set to commence on May 26, bringing together teams from across the region for a series of competitive games that will determine qualifiers for the next round.
Bear Lake will serve as the hub for both baseball District 106 and softball District 105, welcoming squads from Brethren and Onekama, while Manistee will host its own baseball District 72 and travel to LeRoy Pine River for its softball District 69.
In the opening round, Frankfort is slated to meet the winner of a pre‑district clash between Onekama and Brethren at 4:15 p.m. on May 26, and Bear Lake’s baseball team will take on Mesick at 10 a.m. on May 30.
The championship contests are scheduled for 2 p.m. on May 30 in both District 106 and District 72, promising decisive games that will crown the county’s representatives.
Manistee’s baseball side will host District 72 and face the victor of a pre‑district matchup between Evart and Mason County Central at 10 a.m. on May 30, while Reed City will square off against LeRoy Pine River at noon in the same bracket.
On the softball side, Bear Lake will open its District 105 tournament against Mesick at 10 a.m. on May 29, and Onekama will await the winner of a Brethren‑Frankfort pre‑district game, which is set for noon on May 29.
The Brethren softball team will meet Frankfort at 4:15 p.m. on May 26 in a pre‑district encounter, and the eventual winner will advance to a semifinal against Onekama at noon on May 29.
The District 69 championship in softball is slated for 2 p.m. on May 30, where the host LeRoy Pine River will be joined by the Manistee squad in a final showdown.
