Tennessee’s Offensive Line Chase: Kyle Nabrotzky Among Top Prospects

The Brentwood standout weighs his options as the Vols prioritize in‑state talent

Tennessee football is actively courting Kyle Nabrotzky, a three‑star offensive lineman from Brentwood High School, as one of just six finalists for his signature.

A Recruiting Landscape in Tennessee

Ranked as the No. 47 interior offensive lineman nationally and the 30th‑best player from the state, Nabrotzky has drawn attention from Vanderbilt, Michigan, Virginia Tech, BYU and UCLA, in addition to the Vols.

He first stepped onto the Tennessee campus during the spring camp on March 21, and four days later the coaching staff extended a scholarship, a move that underscores the program’s urgency in retaining top in‑state talent.

Building an In‑State Core

Tennessee’s 2027 class already features five commitments from within the state, including wide receiver Kesean Bowman, offensive tackle Princeton Uwaifo, safety Jaden Butler, linebacker JP Peace and cornerback Slim Leavell, a group the staff hopes will form the backbone of future depth.

Beyond Nabrotzky, the class also includes defensive lineman Kadin Fife, quarterback Derrick Baker, cornerback Carter Jamison and long snapper Sam McKeown, while 247Sports currently places the Vols at No. 32 in the national team rankings.

On the field, Nabrotzky has proven his versatility, lining up at multiple positions along the offensive line and even scoring a touchdown on a trick play from the tackle spot, highlighting his playmaking potential beyond traditional blocking duties.
