Florida State's baseball team is set to welcome the nation's regional tournament to Tallahassee for the third consecutive season, a testament to the program's sustained excellence under head coach Link Jarrett.
A Milestone in Regional Hosting
The Seminoles earned the No. 10 seed in the NCAA Baseball Tournament and will open play against St. John's on Friday, May 29, at 3 p.m. at Dick Howser Stadium. The regional will also feature Coastal Carolina and Northern Illinois, running through Monday, June 1.
Florida State arrives with a 38‑17 overall record and eight ACC series victories, having finished the season with a strong finish that included a loss to Pitt in the ACC Tournament quarterfinals.
The roster boasts five All‑ACC selections and the conference's Pitcher of the Year, Wes Mendes, who will anchor a pitching staff that helped the team reach the College World Series in 2024 and the super‑regional rounds in 2025.
Ticket Access and Fan Experience
All‑session tickets go on sale Monday, May 25, with Seminole Booster members receiving early access at 2 p.m. ET, followed by a public release at 5 p.m. Phone and walk‑up orders begin Tuesday at 8:30 a.m., and tickets are also available through StubHub.
Beyond the regional, the NCAA tournament will continue with Super Regionals from June 5 to June 8 and the College World Series from June 12 to June 22, offering the Seminoles a potential path back to Omaha if they advance.
Looking Toward Omaha
With a blend of seasoned veterans and emerging talent, Florida State aims to translate its regional dominance into a deeper postseason run. The team's recent history suggests that a return to the national stage is well within reach.
