Homecoming for a Local Star
Mia Fiore, a standout guard from the Ocean State, has announced her commitment to the University of Rhode Island women's basketball program, bringing her talents back to the campus where she first rose to prominence.
During her final season at Merrimack College, she averaged 13.8 points and 5.4 rebounds per game, earning Most Valuable Player honors and helping her team capture the NEPSAC Class B championship at St. George’s.
The Rams have also added new staff members, including Catherine Cassidy, Carly Fabbri and Taya Robinson, who are expected to bring fresh strategies to the program.
