A Season of Scholarship
High School Football America, in partnership with scoutSMART, has unveiled the sixth edition of its Michigan Academic All‑America football team, spotlighting student‑athletes who maintained a cumulative GPA of 3.7 or higher — or scored at least 92 on a 0‑to‑100 scale — while being active contributors on their varsity squads during the previous season.
The recognition is powered by scoutSMART, a proprietary analytics platform that aggregates performance metrics, on‑field statistics and academic records to identify the most accomplished players across the state.
Hundreds of schools are represented in the cohort, ranging from Anchor Bay and Athens to Grand Rapids and Lansing, illustrating the widespread commitment to balancing athletic ambition with scholarly achievement.
The honorees span a variety of positions — including linebacker, defensive back, wide receiver, defensive lineman, offensive lineman, quarterback, tight end, running back, kicker and fullback — showcasing that academic excellence is not confined to a single role on the field.
Graduating classes represented include the 2026, 2027 and 2028 cohorts, underscoring a multi‑year tradition of recognizing emerging talent who are poised to transition from high school to higher education and beyond.
