Statewide Rankings Reflect Growing Competitive Depth
The Wisconsin Soccer Coaches Association announced its Week 8 Girls Soccer Rankings, dividing the top teams into four divisions that span the state’s high school landscape.
In Division 1, traditional powerhouses such as Arrowhead, Madison West and Brookfield East lead the pack, while Division 2 showcases Pewaukee and Brookfield Central among the contenders.
Division 3 features strong programs from Kiel and New Berlin Eisenhower, and Division 4 highlights The Prairie School and Xavier Lake Mills as the teams to watch.
Baseball Rankings Mirror Soccer Momentum
The Wisconsin Baseball Coaches Association followed suit with its Week 5 Rankings, also organized by division and region, underscoring the breadth of athletic talent across Wisconsin.
Division 1 baseball leaders include Germantown, Bay Port and Muskego, while Division 2 features Pewaukee and Kiel battling for position.
Meanwhile, Division 3 and Division 4 see Kewaunee, Elk Mound, Barneveld and Pittsville emerging as key competitors, reflecting a deep pool of emerging talent.
These rankings not only celebrate current successes but also signal the rising competitiveness of high school sports in the state, setting the stage for upcoming matchups and playoff aspirations.
