Jackson Johnson has stepped into the role of Boys National Basketball head coach at IMG Academy, bringing with him a championship pedigree and a reputation as a developer of top‑tier talent.

A Proven Winner

At The Newman School, Johnson guided the team to consecutive NEPSAC AAA titles and a National Prep Championship, setting program records and launching several players into college ranks.

His coaching journey began as a graduate assistant at Tulane University, where he worked under Mike Dunleavy Sr. and Ron Hunter and helped shape future NBA guard Melvin Frazier.

Before joining IMG, he served as an assistant at Northfield Mount Hermon School, contributing to a nationally ranked squad that finished the season 33‑6.
