The centerpiece of the plan is a $450 price tag for basic season tickets, while the varsity and Maverick level Blue Line Club packages will be priced at $1,450 and $2,900 respectively.
In a shift that will affect every box‑office transaction at the Mayo Clinic Health System Event Center, sales tax will now be borne directly by purchasers, and a $2 per‑ticket surcharge will fund the Competitive Excellence Fund.
Premium pricing will be applied to the marquee home series against Wisconsin and Minnesota, where tickets will be sold at $40 each and will not carry the usual youth or student discounts.
Fans can secure their seats online starting today at msumavericks.com/seasontickets, with in‑person sales opening at the Maverick Athletic Office on Monday, July 6. Single‑game tickets will become available on Tuesday, September 8.
Beyond ticketing, the athletics department is exploring additional revenue streams, including NIL partnerships, logo‑patch sponsorships and rental opportunities within the Maverick Hockey Reception Center, all aimed at bolstering student‑athlete retention and recruiting.

A tentative “Puck Drop in City Center” is slated for Tuesday, September 29, and a limited pilot of digital season tickets will debut this season, with a full transition targeted for 2027‑28.
