Arrest and Allegations
Stepfan Henderson, a 35‑year‑old defensive backs coach and business English teacher at Live Oak High School, was taken into custody on Tuesday after a report of inappropriate conduct involving a juvenile surfaced. Authorities allege that Henderson engaged in indecent behavior and committed forcible fondling of a minor, prompting a swift criminal investigation.
The allegations emerged on April 16, when school officials received a tip that led to an immediate internal review. Within hours, Henderson was placed on administrative leave, and the district announced that his employment contract would not be renewed when it expires at the end of the 2025‑26 school year.
Legal Proceedings and Institutional Response
Henderson now faces two counts of indecent behavior and one count of molestation of a juvenile. He was booked into the Livingston Parish Detention Center on a $350,000 bond, underscoring the seriousness with which the charges are being treated.
