The 2026 SCHSL Upstate girls soccer season wrapped up with the release of the final rankings, a culmination of a competitive year that saw several teams battle through deep playoff runs.
Eastside emerged as the region’s champion, finishing the season with a 22‑3 record after a hard‑fought loss to Chapin in the Class 5A‑D2 state title game. Their consistency throughout the campaign secured the No. 1 spot in the final listings.
Close behind, J.L. Mann posted a 16‑3‑2 slate and fell to Wanda in the Class 5A‑D1 championship match, earning the second‑place position. The team’s blend of defense and midfield control kept them among the elite.
St. Joseph’s Catholic rounded out the top three with an 11‑5 record, succumbing to Oceanside Collegiate in the Class 3A final. Despite the loss, their late‑season surge impressed observers and locked in a third‑place finish.
Greenville climbed to fourth with a 15‑5‑1 mark, dropping a narrow defeat to Eastside in the Upper State finals. The Greenville run highlighted the depth of talent across the Upstate.
