State Cup Finals Set for Saturday at Blue Sky Sports Complex
The Blue Sky Sports Complex at 162 Ohaire Road in Middletown will host the Eastern New York State Cup finals and accompanying Challenge Cup matches on Saturday, May 30, with competition running from 9 a.m. until 4:45 p.m.
The tournament brings together teams from under‑13 through under‑17 age groups in a single‑elimination format that crowns state champions and determines representatives for regional and national events.
Two Mid-Hudson clubs will fly the region’s flag: Fox Soccer Academy Premier Nirvana and K Thunder, both based in Central Valley, will compete in their respective brackets.
Pathway to Regional and National Play
Winners of the State Cup advance to the Eastern Regional championships, and the Under‑12 champion earns a spot in the U.S. Youth Soccer National Championships, creating a direct route from local play to the national stage.
