Oregon and Oregon State Ink Four-Game Football Series Through 2032

A new scheduling agreement reshapes the rivalry, moving games to Corvallis and Eugene while adjusting other matchups.

The University of Oregon and Oregon State University have announced a four‑game football scheduling agreement that will run from 2028 through 2032, guaranteeing a series of matchups that fans have long awaited.

The first meeting will take place on September 16, 2028, when the Ducks travel to Corvallis to face the Beavers at Reser Stadium, while the following year the Beavers will make the trek to Eugene for a September 15, 2029 showdown at Autzen Stadium.

Adjustments to the 2029 slate

To accommodate the Oregon State fixture, the Ducks' game against Utah State, originally slated for September 15, 2029, has been moved forward to September 8, 2029, a shift that preserves the non‑conference slot while ensuring the rivalry remains intact.

The agreement also stipulates that there will be no meeting in 2030, allowing both programs to focus on other non‑conference opponents that year. The series resumes in 2031 with a return visit to Eugene on August 30, 2031, and culminates in 2032 with a final showdown back in Corvallis on September 11, 2032.

Beyond the calendar, the arrangement reflects a mutual desire to preserve one of college football’s most storied rivalries while providing flexibility for future scheduling challenges. Athletic directors from both schools emphasized that the pact will deepen the competitive spirit and give fans a clear view of when the next chapter will unfold.
