Legacy Basketball Camp Returns to Zachary
The Zachary Broncos are once again opening their doors to the community with the Legacy Basketball Camp, a program designed for children between the ages of four and fourteen. Running from Tuesday through Friday, the camp operates each morning from eight a.m. until noon, providing a structured yet relaxed environment for young athletes.
Current and former members of the Broncos roster, including several college‑level players, serve as coaches. Their involvement brings a blend of professional insight and relatable experience, ensuring that participants receive instruction that is both technically sound and attuned to the developmental needs of youth.
Skill Building and Friendly Competition
Campers can expect a curriculum that covers essential basketball fundamentals such as ball handling, passing, and shooting. In addition to skill drills, the schedule incorporates three‑on‑three and five‑on‑five games, allowing children to apply what they have learned in a competitive yet supportive setting.
Beyond technical training, the camp emphasizes teamwork, sportsmanship, and a love for the game. By fostering a sense of community and encouraging participation at all skill levels, the Broncos aim to nurture the next generation of players while reinforcing the values that have long defined the Legacy program.
