NASCAR has officially released the driver roster for the 2026 Cracker Barrel 400, the highly anticipated event that will take place at Nashville Superspeedway in May of next year. The entry list confirms 38 drivers will compete, of which 36 hold guaranteed charters and two spots remain open for new competitors.
A milestone weekend for Nashville
The race will mark Nashville’s sole appearance on the 2026 NASCAR schedule and will serve as the third concrete event of the season, giving teams a crucial early‑season benchmark. In addition, all three of NASCAR’s national series will be on track during the weekend, adding extra on‑track activity for fans.
A key storyline involves the No. 33 car, where Austin Hill is set to replace the late Kyle Busch. Busch’s tragic passing earlier this year opened the seat at Richard Childress Racing, and Hill will take over the ride for the upcoming season.
The two open entries will be filled by Chad Finchum and Corey Heim, both of whom are expected to bring fresh talent to the grid. Their participation underscores NASCAR’s continued effort to blend veteran experience with emerging drivers.
Team dynamics also shift, as 23XI Racing, co‑owned by former driver Denny Hamlin, remains a prominent organization in the paddock, alongside Richard Childress Racing, which will field Hill in the iconic No. 33.
