UConn Women’s Soccer Announces July 2026 ID Clinics for High School Players

Head Coach Margaret Rodriguez to Lead Advanced Training Sessions at Joseph J. Morrone Stadium

The University of Connecticut women's soccer program is set to open its doors to aspiring high school athletes this summer, announcing two intensive identification clinics scheduled for July 2026.

Both sessions will take place on consecutive days, Monday, July 27, and Tuesday, July 28, from 9 a.m. to noon at the iconic Joseph J. Morrone Stadium, the home field of the Huskies.

Designed for the Next Generation of Players

The clinics target girls entering grades nine through twelve who are looking to elevate their game. Organizers have crafted a curriculum that blends advanced tactical instruction with technical drills, while also providing ample opportunity for small‑sided competition and full‑field 11‑versus‑11 matches.

Head Coach Margaret Rodriguez will oversee the instruction, supported by the full UConn Soccer Coaching Staff and current team members who will serve as mentors and demonstrators throughout the sessions.

Because the learning environment is kept intimate, space is limited to ensure each participant receives personalized feedback and ample repetition, a factor that coaches say is essential for rapid skill development.

Prospective attendees can expect a day filled with purposeful training, strategic discussions, and the chance to experience the vibrant campus atmosphere that has become a hallmark of UConn soccer.
