Arkansas Razorbacks head coach Ryan Silverfield opened the “All in Roadshow” in Fayetteville on Tuesday, rallying fans and alumni around the program’s renewed focus on home‑grown talent and collective effort.
Roadshow Kicks Off in Fayetteville
Silverfield stressed that the team’s philosophy centers on hard work rather than mere win totals, noting that more than half of the recent signing class hails from Arkansas, underscoring the coach’s commitment to in‑state recruiting.
The quarterback battle remains unsettled, with KJ Jackson and AJ Hill vying for the starting spot; Silverfield likened Hill’s throwing motion to former NFL quarterback Byron Leftwich, a comparison that has sparked early excitement among analysts.
Reflecting on spring practices, the coach said the sessions have clarified the squad’s strengths and exposed areas needing improvement, setting the stage for an intensive summer conditioning program aimed at making the team bigger, faster and stronger.
The roadshow will next travel to Little Rock, Jonesboro and Frisco, Texas, before heading to other markets, a tour that also serves to showcase the university’s ambitions for a lucrative multimedia rights agreement and a potential large football naming‑rights deal, as hinted at by deputy athletics director Rick Thorpe.
