Four-goal victories over King’s Fork set the stage for regional playoffs in Williamsburg

The Gloucester High School soccer teams concluded their regular seasons with a sweep of King’s Fork, each side posting a comfortable victory on Thursday night. The varsity boys edged the opposition 4-1, while the varsity girls also secured a 4-1 win, underscoring the program’s depth and attacking firepower.

The junior varsity squads were equally impressive, the boys delivering an 8-0 shutout and the girls a 2-0 victory, further cementing the team’s dominance across all age groups.

Goal Scorers and Assist Providers

Corey Skay, Gavin Seitz, Cameron Bower and K.J. Wolford found the back of the net for the varsity boys, with Seitz and Brody Sutton contributing the assists that set up the scoring plays. On the girls' side, Lil Wright, Ava Santellanes and Eva Updike accounted for the goals, while Updike and Alina Laubacker provided the key assists that created the chances.
