FireKeepers Casino 400 Secures Multi-Year Partnership with Michigan International Speedway

The renewed deal guarantees the 2026 NASCAR Cup Series race will feature a star-studded lineup and fan-focused activities at the historic Michigan track.

The Michigan International Speedway announced this week that it has renewed its partnership with FireKeepers Casino Hotel to continue staging the FireKeepers Casino 400, a NASCAR Cup Series event that draws fans from across the Midwest.

Joe Fowler, President of Michigan International Speedway, said the extension reflects a shared vision and aligned values between the speedway and the casino, underscoring their commitment to delivering a world-class racing weekend.

A Strategic Extension for a Beloved Event

The renewed agreement guarantees that the 11th FireKeepers Casino 400 will take place on Sunday, June 7, 2026, at 3:00 p.m. Eastern Time, with tickets already on sale through the speedway’s official website.

Denny Hamlin, the 2025 winner, will return to defend his title and is scheduled to meet fans at FireKeepers Casino Hotel on Saturday, June 6, 2026, adding a series of autograph sessions and behind-the-scenes experiences.

Brad Keselowski, a native of Rochester, Michigan, brings a local storyline to the event, while Erik Jones of Byron and Carson Hocevar of Portage, both with multiple starts at the track but yet to claim a victory, are expected to add fresh competition.

The weekend will also feature support races from the ARCA Menards Series and the NASCAR CRAFTSMAN Truck Series, giving emerging talent a platform alongside the Cup Series action.

Local officials say the event injects millions of dollars into the regional economy, supporting hospitality businesses and creating seasonal jobs, while the casino’s award-winning facilities, boasting over 2,900 slot machines and 60 table games, continue to attract visitors from across the country.
