Memphis Tigers unveil 2026 football schedule
The university announced the full slate of kickoff times for the upcoming season, setting the stage for a campaign that promises plenty of drama on and off the field.
The Tigers will open their season on the road against UNLV, with the game slated for August 29 at 9 p.m. Central Time, giving fans an early taste of the action.
A week later, Memphis returns home to face Arkansas State on September 5 at 6 p.m. CT, kicking off a home stretch that also includes a September 19 showdown with UT Martin.
The non‑conference road portion of the schedule also features trips to Boise State, Charlotte, Tulane, South Florida and Navy, while the home slate will host Arkansas State and UT Martin as the only non‑conference opponents on campus.
Conference battles and championship
Four American Conference matchups have already been timed, including contests against Tulane, East Carolina, South Florida and Navy, each slated for specific evenings later in the fall.
The centerpiece of the conference schedule is the American Conference Championship, set for December 5 at 7 p.m. CT, where the Tigers will meet their league rivals in a bid for the title.
Head coach Charles Huff, entering his first year at the helm, will guide a roster that faces eight opponents who earned bowl berths in 2025, underscoring the competitiveness of the upcoming slate.
Fans can expect a vibrant atmosphere as the team travels across the country, from Las Vegas to New Orleans, while the home crowd looks forward to seeing the Tigers battle on familiar turf.
