The Atlantic Coast Conference and ESPN have together unveiled the kickoff times and television partners for five of Virginia Tech’s 2026 football contests, giving fans a first look at the upcoming slate.
Broadcast Partners and Timing Details
The season will open on September 5 with a prime‑time showdown against VMI, slated for 7:30 p.m. Eastern on the ACC Network, marking the first meeting between the programs since 1984.
A week later, the Hokies will host Old Dominion at noon Eastern on September 12, with the game carried on The CW, adding a midday slot to the schedule.
Virginia Tech’s first road test comes on September 19 at Maryland, where the contest will air at 7:30 p.m. Eastern on either Fox or FS1, depending on final assignments.
The team will then welcome Pitt to Blacksburg on October 2 at 7 p.m. Eastern, with ESPN broadcasting the matchup.
Finally, the Hokies travel to Dallas to meet SMU on November 6 at 7 p.m. Eastern, also on ESPN, bringing the regular season to a close with a high‑profile night game.
