Syracuse University has unveiled the first four matchups of its 2026 football campaign, confirming that each contest will be broadcast live on national linear television.
The season opens on September 5 when the Orange host New Hampshire at noon, a kickoff that will air on the ACC Network.
A week later, California visits the JMA Wireless Dome for a 3:30 p.m. start on ACCN, followed by a primetime showdown against Pittsburgh on September 17 at 7:30 p.m. on ESPN.
The early road test concludes on October 3 when Syracuse travels to UConn for a noon broadcast on CBS Sports Network.
Key matchups and broadcast details
All six home games this year are scheduled for Saturday afternoons or evenings, reinforcing the program’s tradition of weekend football.
The Orange will also welcome Notre Dame, Clemson, SMU, Louisville and New Hampshire as opponents at the Dome, a slate that collectively posted a 65 percent win rate a season ago.
Head coach Fran Brown, now in his third year at the helm, inherits a roster bolstered by the return of quarterback Steve Angeli, who topped the nation in passing before a mid‑season injury last year.
Defensive stalwarts Antoine Deslauriers and Demetres Samuel Jr. are also set to reprise their sophomore campaigns, while cornerback Chris Peal is projected as a first‑round talent in early 2027 NFL mock drafts.
Syracuse has capitalized on a recruiting class ranked among the program’s best in recent memory and added several high‑impact transfers, positioning the team to compete aggressively in the ACC.
Season tickets for the 2026 schedule are currently on sale through the official portal at Cuse.com/FootballTickets.
Kickoff times for the remaining eight contests will be announced roughly 12 days before each game, giving fans ample time to plan.
