Pollo Campero, the Guatemalan-born fast-casual chain that has been serving crispy fried and roasted chicken for more than five decades, is turning the summer into a celebration of soccer.
Starting May 26 and running through July 31, the brand is rolling out a limited-edition Pollito Campeón plush that features a golden soccer ball, while fans can also snag exclusive menu items branded as Goooool for watch parties.
The Goooool Box, priced at $12, bundles three pieces of dark-meat fried chicken, four Campero Nuggets with sauce, a side of fries and a signature drink, while the Goooool Bundle offers 22 pieces of mixed dark-meat chicken with family sides and rolls for $63, and the Goooool Catering Bundle provides a larger feast for $259.
A Tournament of Taste
To add a playful edge, guests can purchase a limited-edition soccer-themed cup for $5 and enjoy unlimited refills, and they can also participate in a perforated-coupon tournament bracket that promises extra deals for the most enthusiastic fans.
Beyond the promotions, Pollo Campero's roots run deep in Hispanic gastronomy; founded in 1971 by Dionisio Gutiérrez G. in Guatemala, the brand now operates more than 350 restaurants across Guatemala, El Salvador, the United States, Mexico, Honduras and Ecuador, serving over 80 million customers each year.
The company's corporate parent, Corporación Multi Inversiones, has long supported education and health initiatives, including the Campero Institute, which has offered scholarships to employees for three decades, and the Gran Rifa Únete a AYUVI, a program that has aided children battling cancer for over 20 years.
With a dedicated workforce of 8,000 employees and a reputation as a cultural icon of Hispanic cuisine, Pollo Campero's summer soccer campaign blends flavor, fandom and philanthropy into a single, unforgettable experience.
