All‑Olympic Honors
The Port Angeles and Sequim high school baseball programs each placed multiple athletes on the All‑Olympic first and second teams, recognizing a total of nine standout players from the two schools.
Kody Williams and Brayden Martin, both from Port Angeles, led the way with dominant pitching performances that included a one‑hit shutout and a no‑hitters in the postseason, underscoring their impact on the league.
Owen Leitz joined Williams on the first team, while Lincoln Bear and Zeke Schmadeke represented Sequim on the same list, reflecting the depth of talent across the rivalry.
Port Angeles also earned four second‑team selections — Abe Brenkman, Ethan Swenson, Easton Fisher and Brayden Martin — while Sequim added Devyn Dearinger to that group, completing a balanced roster of honorees.
Pitching Excellence
Williams tossed a one‑hit, 3‑0 shutout against Bremerton and followed it with a three‑hit, 12‑2 victory in the postseason, while Martin delivered a 2‑0 no‑hitter versus Bremerton and a 2‑1 playoff win over Olympic, highlighting a rare combination of control and power.
Their outings were complemented by a league‑wide all‑sportsmanship team that included Jensen Wolfe of Port Angeles and Hunter Tennell of Sequim, rewarding both athletic skill and character.
Bainbridge’s Dominance
Bainbridge, the league champion, captured six first‑team spots and saw Trey Thompson named the league MVP, while the team sits ranked No. 2 in the state, a testament to its depth and consistency.
All nine All‑Olympic selections from Port Angeles and Sequim will continue their summer together on the Wilder Senior roster, a program that offers competitive play and development opportunities.
