A Promising Midfielder
Nadia Kelly is in her second year on the Baldwin varsity soccer squad, having transitioned from a freshman to a key midfielder and forward.
While the adrenaline of open play and the prospect of a goal keep her motivated, Kelly admits that finding the net has been a steep learning curve.
Finding Her Place on the Field
She notes that the team’s communication has improved, allowing players to better understand their positions and move the ball down the field with purpose.
Beyond the Pitch
Kelly also balances soccer with cheerleading, but she says the pitch offers a unique blend of strategy and raw energy that she prefers.
Looking ahead, she is eager to see the program’s continued progress and hopes to contribute more goals in the next two seasons.
