Early-Season Broadcast Landscape
The season opener against Texas State is slated for 2:30 p.m. on September 5, and the game will be carried live on ESPN, giving the matchup a national audience.
A week later, the Longhorns will host UTSA under the lights, with a 7 p.m. start on September 19 and a stream on SEC Network+, the conference’s digital platform.
The schedule also includes a high‑profile road test at Ohio State on September 12, again at 6:30 p.m., while the rivalry game at Texas A&M is set for a 6:30 p.m. kickoff on November 27.
The Southeastern Conference said it will reveal TV windows for the remainder of its conference slate on June 10, a date that will clarify the broadcast outlook for the rest of the year.
