A Global Expansion
The National Football League has revealed its 2026 International Games schedule, a slate that will feature nine regular‑season contests spread across four continents, seven countries and eight stadiums.
For the first time, the league will stage regular‑season games in Melbourne, Rio de Janeiro and Paris, marking the expansion of the sport into new markets beyond traditional venues.
London remains a cornerstone of the plan, with three consecutive games scheduled and the Jacksonville Jaguars slated to play back‑to‑back matches on the British capital’s turf.
In France, the inaugural regular‑season showdown will pit the Pittsburgh Steelers against the New Orleans Saints at the Stade de France, while Spain’s second straight appearance will see a game at Real Madrid’s Bernabéu Stadium. The European leg will close in Munich, where the final match will be held at FC Bayern Munich’s arena.
Peter O’Reilly, NFL Executive Vice President, described the upcoming season as “the most expansive and ambitious international slate in league history,” underscoring the organization’s commitment to global growth.
