2026 Kickoff Schedule Unveiled
Nebraska football has officially released the kickoff times and television designations for four of its 2026 contests, giving fans a clear picture of what the early season will look like.
The Huskers open the year on September 5 at Memorial Stadium, hosting the Ohio Bobcats at 11 a.m. on FS1. It marks the first of several early‑season matchups that will be broadcast nationally.
Two weeks later, Nebraska will enjoy back‑to‑back primetime home games. On September 12, the Cornhuskers welcome Bowling Green, with a 6 p.m. CT start on FS1, followed by a September 19 showdown against North Dakota at 6:15 p.m. CT on the Big Ten Network.
High‑Profile Road and Holiday Games
The annual Black Friday rivalry with Iowa has been placed on an 11 a.m. CT kickoff and will be played in Iowa City, airing on CBS. The following Friday, November 6, Nebraska travels to Illinois, where the game is slated for a 7 p.m. CT start on Fox.
While the schedule for the remainder of the 2026 slate will be announced six to twelve days before each contest, the early‑season lineup already provides a compelling mix of home primetime slots and marquee road games.
