Jodi Holleman is stepping away from Minnesota State Community and Technical College after six years at the helm of the women’s basketball program, accepting a new role as head girls varsity basketball coach at Morris Area High School.
A New Chapter for Holleman
During her tenure, Holleman guided the M State Lady Spartans to a regional championship in her very first season and earned Coach of the Year honors, a testament to her ability to instill fundamentals and cultivate a positive team culture.
Beyond the college ranks, she will continue to serve as owner and director of the West Central Wildcats youth sports program, ensuring that the developmental pipeline for local athletes remains strong.
Jason Retzlaff, co-athletic director at M State, highlighted Holleman’s lasting influence, noting that she mentored countless student-athletes and prioritized those who uplift their teammates and demonstrate a relentless work ethic.
Legacy at M State
The college has officially launched the search for a successor, aiming to build on the foundation Holleman helped shape while seeking fresh leadership for the program.
