The 2026 Youngstown State Women's Basketball Golf Outing is set for August 22 at the scenic Knoll Run course, marking the 23rd iteration of this beloved fundraiser and the 14th straight year the event has been held at this venue.
A Tradition on the Green
Organizers have limited the number of foursomes available, ensuring an intimate atmosphere for participants while still offering a handful of hole sponsorship opportunities that can be tailored with company logos or simple text.
Beyond the swing, the outing provides a unique chance for golfers to meet the 2026‑27 roster and coaching staff, fostering a direct connection between the community and the program they support.
Supporting the Program
The day includes a full slate of activities: skill‑based and team prizes, 50/50 raffles, and a red‑bag auction featuring donated items. After navigating the course, participants enjoy a boxed lunch on the fairway followed by a buffet dinner that caps the event.
Golfers can sign up as a complete foursome for $400, a price that bundles green fees, cart usage, skins, prizes, and all food. Individual players may join for $100, while those interested only in the buffet can purchase a $20 ticket.

Registration opens at 7:30 a.m., with a shotgun start scheduled for 9 a.m. The deadline to secure a foursome or submit a hole sign is August 10, after which the limited spots will be filled on a first‑come, first‑served basis.
